Yorba Linda, CA - Cobra Engineering continues to expand the applications for its successful Fi2000 electronic fuel management system and now offers the new California Fi2000R-ARB for fuel-injected Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha and Victory motorcycles. The new models are available for both closed loop and open loop applications, and are legal for sale and use in California.
These new Fi2000Rs are model specific and arrive preset for each bike. Each uses OEM-style connectors for easy installation. Like the Fi2000R available in the other 49 states, the Fi2000R-ARB corrects for lean air fuel mixtures under acceleration and load, and at full throttle applications. To meet California standards it does not, however, adjust for those conditions while in cruise mode. And it does not allow the user to adjust the unit.
"The Fi2000R-ARB unit gives riders in California a proven, cost-effective solution to their motorcycle's lean air/fuel conditions," said Tim McCool, President of Cobra Engineering. "The unit delivers fuel immediately when the throttle is opened for improved rideability and overall performance gains."
The Fi2000R ARB corrects low rpm, lean air/fuel mixtures; it does not necessarily increase maximum horsepower, though in most cases it does provide a smoother power curve and better rideability across a wide rpm range.

"Most riders modify their bikes right away, and there is no better cost-effective way for them to tune their bikes.
